2015 In Review: Where I've Been

2015 was a pretty crazy year in terms of transition and change. I didn't get to travel as much as I would have liked to but it was a great start to what I hope these next few years will bring. Here are some of the highlights from my trips in 2015.

Las Vegas
I saw Britney Spears for the 3rd time at her Piece of Me show in Las Vegas. I was front row, literally within an arm's reach of her and had the best experience of my life. Being a life long Britney fan, it's a dream to be able to have an opportunity like this and I hope that I can do it all over again one day.

I also tried several great restaurants including Sugar Factory. Their fish bowls were incredible and the food even better.

Galena
In the summertime, I took a little weekend getaway to Galena, IL. This historic town must have figured out a way to stop time because it's like walking into the past. I didn't get to spend half has much time as I would have preferred there but I did stay at a cozy bed and breakfast called Goldmoor Inn which was positively fabulous. They're my #1 spot when I decide to head back again.

Texas
I just began writing about my trip to Texas which was a whole two weeks. I have family in the Dallas/Fort Worth area I love to visit and you can bet I'll be returning again next year. Stay tuned for more on these great cities along with a cute little town called Grapevine that I have a whole post dedicated too.

San Francisco
San Francisco was a spur of the moment decision. My friend was getting married just outside SF and I decided to make a trip out of it. I only got to spend five days in this city, three if you take into consideration travel and my epic trip to Napa Valley, but I did manage to cram in quite a bit. Stick around for my adventures in California a little farther into 2016.

Next week I will be sharing travel goals and ambitions for 2016. I've already got two trips up my sleeve with another 3 in the works so be prepared for a year full of travel and adventure. I'm beyond excited and can hardly wait!
