Lattes, Life, & Luggage is a digital publication focused on the intersection of travel and culture with the adventures of life in between. Our mission is to inspire curiosity and encourage meaningful living through cultural exploration, travel, and storytelling. We believe the best souvenirs are the memories you make and the perspectives gained along the way. This is a community for anyone passionate about discovering the world, whether that’s finding hidden gems in your home city or flying halfway around the world to stand on a mountain peak.

Lattes was founded in 2011 by Christine Rosko as a personal food and travel blog. After taking a hiatus for several years filled with growth, loss, and rediscovery, Christine reimagined Lattes into a platform she always wanted but could never find. In a world filled with noise, she set out to create a corner of the internet that inspires dreaming, fosters connection, and celebrates authentic storytelling. This is more than a rebrand; it’s stepping into a new chapter and beginning anew.

Lattes, Life, & Luggage is built around three core foundations:

“Lattes” represents the simple joys that fuel our journeys. Whether it’s a perfectly brewed flat white in a Parisian café or a steaming cup of chai on a bustling street corner in NYC, we believe coffee, like so many of the little things in life, is more than just a drink—it’s an experience, a moment to savor.

“Life” is the heartbeat of Lattes, Life, & Luggage—the vibrant tapestry of moments that connect us to the world and each other.

“& Luggage” ties it all together—the journeys we take and the stories we bring back.

Our content is centered around two themes: “Travel + Destinations” and “Culture + Storytelling.” You’ll find everything from hotel reviews to destination features, travel guides to round-ups, reflective essays, reporting on current events, personal stories from businesses and individuals across the globe, and more. Our goal is to elevate voices and promote positive experiences through our content.

This is only the beginning! We have much in store for Lattes, Life, & Luggage and can’t wait to take you on this journey with us 💖✈️

Meet the Founder & Editor

Christine’s wanderlust began early. Always curious and forever asking too many questions, she found her adventures in books until she was old enough to travel on her own. While she still loves to get lost in reading, she enjoys finding new destinations just as much. Christine has always found writing the easiest way to express herself. Although she never quite grasped physics, she always read ahead and argued with teachers over the maximum word count on papers. She got her first taste of travel studying abroad in Paris during her senior year of college, and from there, the rest is history!

A native Chicagoan, Christine has spent the last fifteen years working as a publicist representing clients in various industries but focusing on hospitality and lifestyle. In 2014, she took a leap of faith and quit her corporate job to set off on her own, and she’s been self-employed ever since. Working closely with media throughout her career, Christine has a great respect for journalists, the written word, and the integrity of authentic storytelling. She’s always been inspired by feature articles in glossy magazines, sharing a glimpse into places she never heard of. The vision for Lattes, Life, & Luggage was built out of appreciation for the industry and to fill a need for long-form content that is also approachable, digestible, and, most importantly, authentic.

Christine is always looking forward to her next trip or adventure, whether that’s a weekend getaway to Michigan, a coastal adventure in California, or a busy week in Chicago. She dreams of living near the ocean, but a country house in the French countryside will also suffice. You can often find her in a coffee shop, wandering a bookstore, or getting lost in a Broadway show.

Kelli is a passionate traveler; her mind and body curious to explore the world, different cultures and landscapes, food and drink, and everything in between. Curiosity and food being the foundations of most of her travels, Kelli prefers to live like a local wherever she goes, with some touristy destinations peppered into her itinerary. Originally hailing from the great city of Chicago, Kelli, her husband, and senior cat are now based in the Southwest United States, exploring the desert and everything it has to offer – Joshua Trees, Cacti, Torti, Agave, Wild Burros, and some of the best sunsets and DarkSky locations you’ve ever seen.

Kelli has had the privilege of jet-setting around the world; in fact, her husband proposed on the rooftop of the Riad in Marrakech, Morocco, before they hopped across the sea to Southern Spain for the second leg of their trip. Kelli views travel as a universal education and encourages everyone to immerse themselves in local cultures and traditions as much as possible. Her favorite activities when traveling include cooking classes, wine tastings, restaurant hopping, self-guided tours, and wandering aimlessly, taking in as much as she can. She’s also guilty of pulling up local real estate pages and peeking at homes for sale or rent... just in case.

When visiting a new country or city, she lives by a simple philosophy: Be open, smart, respectful, and resourceful. And when it comes to travel hesitation (because it happens to all of us), she says, “Adventure will never wait for you, so it’s your responsibility to make sure you don’t miss the adventure.”

When she’s not exploring the desert or jet-setting across the ocean, Kelli is a professional storyteller by trade – a Public Relations professional, and a certified sound and vibrational practitioner, as well as a yin yoga and meditation instructor. You can “blame” the yoga for her positive attitude and ability to keep cool under pressure. At home, Kelli is a Champagne connoisseur, has an unwavering love of tacos, deeply seeded passion for EDM, and is always watching Antiques Roadshow (U.K edition only), or whatever True Crime doc hits her feed.
